- The best alignment in terms of angles is 90 degrees. This is best for the overall growth of the plot and the industrial area. The Southwest angle must be taken as 90 degrees while the Southeast and Northwest angle must be around 90 degrees or more than that.

- Always go for buying a plot that has its entrance in the mid west direction or in the North part of the area.
- Never buy a plot that faces the West direction.
- If the plot faces roads from all of its sides then it is considered as auspicious.
- One should always purchase a plot that is facing in the direction of South if you are a businessman. And, if you are somebody working to provide service to the society then go for a plot that faces in the direction of West.
- As per the Vastu it is considered auspicious to buy a plot with fertile land and that which is surrounded with lot of greenery.
- One should not buy a plot that is in front of a graveyard or if there is any in the adjacent in the adjacent of the plot.
- Never buy a plot which in the vicinity of a college or school or a theatre.
- Avoid purchasing a plot whose ceiling leaks and the rainwater falls off from the roof
- It is very important to understand that there is no tall building in the north eastern direction of the building as that can ruin the peace of your mind.
- Never purchase a plot which has canals or rivers in the south or North direction.
